Given that we've got a best covers thread, I believe this thread should be its yang.

I'll go first, one of my most hated songs ever, never mind cover. Especially from 3mins onward when Axl's voice should be booming and Slash should be shredding, Ms Crow kills the soul of the song.

When Amy Whinehouses version of Valerie came out I hated it, it was so soon after the Zutons and had non of the passion, but I must admit I have softened to it over the years.

Ignoring all the Boyzone/Westlife/Stock Aitken and Waterman covers because they are all crap I'll plump for this:
