Walken

Player Valuation: £90m
After a looooooooooooooong grim season, that could yet get much worse, we all need a decent world cup. As long as it isn't 2010, the sam alladyce of world cups, sam africa, then just booze, sun and footy will be fine.

Post any memories here, goals, videos, songs, @ijjysmith quotes from the algeria thread, whatever makes you think copa mundial

Ran home one day from school just in time to see that 26 pass and move goal from Argentina. I was in love.

Fabian Grosso's goal against Germany. Beautiful.

Then Brazil when Hamez decided to show everyone that he was for real.

Getting the train to the maracana when it was full of Chile fans. Thought my eardrums were going to burst.

No idea what would be #1 on the list. Another memorable moment from 2010...he was a WHU player at the time so at least we can share in that...

My first memorable world cup moment has to be the Romanian's dying their blonde.

France '98, what a world cup. Maybe it just feels magical when you're so young. But everything from Croatia's 3rd Place, Bergkamp against Argentina, Ronaldo and his woe the night before the world cup final, the Reggae Boys, and Michael Owen's wonder goal.

Brilliant, Brilliant world cup.
