What a farce disrupting the season for this.

Fact its blood money that paid for the whole thing makes it worse.

Oh, things won't be improving any time soon. I see today that UEFA have decided to play the most cynical card possible to land the 2030 World Cup for Spain and Portugal: add Ukraine to the ticket.

What a craven sleight of hand. I hope it backfires (and have a sneaking feeling that it will). In my view, that World Cup should be going back to Uruguay for its centenary with support from Argentina, Chile, and Paraguay. I think UEFA might find that their particularly Euro-centric form of moral blackmail won't cut too much ice with the Africans and Asians who must be wondering why their wars are considered so unimportant in the greater scheme of things...

I mean, if you want to give the Ukrainians the World Cup, add their neighbours to the ticket (such as Poland, Romania, and Slovakia). But adding them to the Iberian bid - where a group will now be played in Ukraine - makes a mockery of the competition's integrity, immediately disadvantaging any sides who progress from that group. A farce.

I know a fair few who are staying in Bahrain, UAE, Oman during the tournament, and they’re now revoked the removal of Lateral Flow tests, and you have to use the official channels.

It’s quite simply, an embarrassing effort by UEFA, trying the sympathy card to avoid having to wait 16 years to host the World Cup.

The World Cup for me, should rightfully be played in Uruguay for the 100-year anniversary.

Uruguay, Argentina, Chile would be absolutely class. However, Spain easier on my bank balance!

Uruguay haven't bid yet and it's not decided yet either, only a bid/plan submitted. No brainer to have it in Uruguay though.

England done a recent “second” sale, and had 132 tickets for wales, and only sold 45 of them.

There’s absolutely zero interest there. Drinking etc don’t define a World Cup, but when there’s so many restrictionsnife just such a bizarre decision.

They’ve now lifted the ban on accommodation for non-ticketed fans too. Up to 3 can be added to any Hayya card holder.

In fa t you will find it’s the same countries hosting over and over which I think it’s disgraceful.

It’s supposed to be a World Cup but it’s only going where the money is not the world.

Sweden did not qualify so I am not that arsed about this world cup. I will probably watch the Denmark games for Nordic solidarity.
