Go & find yourself a job that you enjoy. As you say, you spend an awful lot of time at work so you really do have to enjoy it. Ever thought of starting your own business?

I did it, worst financial decision of my life.

Saying that I'm now at the best job I've had, so all is good these days.
 
I could do with jacking in and going paye with someone, a long time out of working for someone else though now & not sure how it would go, as it is I can pretty much work around things like matches, kids activities etc. without seeking someone elses permission for time off etc

ideally I could do with finding another option thats self employed.
 
Where is the cheese on toast option, or even the work is good option. I do sometimes come home with a smile on my face thinking , good job well done,. Mind you I have usually tucked someone up by then lol lol
 

A necessary evil unless you want to spend your life on the poverty line. Work hard, climb the ladder & eventually you end up doing less for much more, happy days.
 
Dull job made better by decent people around to pass the time with. Not one of the options but a good compromise.

Five years to go!
 
I think the idea of "having a job you enjoy" realy does mean you either have to be smart or have a certain skill, for the thousands that are what you would call "average" they probably hate their job or atleast dont enjoy it.
 
Just started as a recruitment consultant.

Hating life.

Someone employ me doing something sik, preferably where I can travel all over the world wearing Armani and punching above my weight.
