I think I make it harder for myself by starting with whatever bizarre word pops into my head at the start, but it's probably more satisfying when I manage it.

Another great recovery. I always thought it'd be good to share screenshots of each others' grids to see how we got to the word. Obviously a bit difficult considering it would have to be the following day if done here rather than a PM.

I had all the letters by my second guess, but just couldn't figure out how to order them, so I took a few more guesses. After that, it was a case of process of elimination.

I was lucky because although I only had two letters after three attempts they were R and O and both green. Considering the available letters left unused there were not many options other than RAYON
