So the British government is the international authority on which people should rule in their own country, and if they do not like them, then the British government has the right to get rid of them. War criminals? Does that include a government that told porkies about 'weapons of mass destruction' to get Britain into a war, alongside the Americans because Saddam Hussein had fallen out of favour with the US.
Saddam Hussein was once the flavour of the month with Britain and the US when he was waging war against Iran.
Iraq quickly found itself bogged down in one of the longest and most destructive wars of attrition of the 20th century. During the war, Iraq used chemical weapons against Iranian forces fighting on the southern front and Kurdish separatists who were attempting to open up a northern front in Iraq with the help of Iran. These chemical weapons were developed by Iraq from materials and technology supplied primarily by West German companies as well as [56] the Reagan administration of the United States which also supplied Iraq with "satellite photos showing Iranian deployments"[57] and advised Hussein to bomb civilian targets in Tehran and other Iranian cities.[58] In a US bid to open full diplomatic relations with Iraq, the country was removed from the US list of State Sponsors of Terrorism. Ostensibly, this was because of improvement in the regime’s record, although former United States Assistant Secretary of Defense Noel Koch later stated, "No one had any doubts about [the Iraqis'] continued involvement in terrorism... The real reason was to help them succeed in the war against Iran."[59] France sold 25 billion dollars worth arms to Saddam.[49] Wikipedia.
Britain fully supported Saddam Hussein when he was flavour of the month using chemical weapons and fighting Iran. I don't remember Britain attempting to get Saddam Hussein on a war crime charge. I think it is called the stench of hypocrisy.
Shayler exposed the dirty side of the British state, just like Peter Wright disclosed the dirty tricks used against Harold Wilson and Philip Agee laid bare the US dirty war against people and governments the US did not like. And who decides if there is a war crime and who should be put in the dock? Have the British government ever pursued any Israeli minister for the genocide conducted against the Palestinians? No. Why/ Be ause the Israeli's are the 'good guys'.
By the way this may interest you, 'On 26 February 2007, the United Nations International Court of Justice (ICJ) found that there was no evidence linking Serbia and Milošević to the crime of genocide in the Bosnian War, not including other breaches of international humanitarian law. However, the court did find that Milošević and others in Serbia did not do enough to prevent acts of genocide from occurring.[10]' Wikipedia.
Were the British soldiers that did these acts 'electric shock was widely used, as well as cigarettes and fire. brought before the UN on war crimes? Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, have Britain asked the UN to start war crimes proceedings against these states? No. Why? Because the British government deems them the 'good guys'.
I never claimed that Britain was a terrorist state, you need to read what I wrote.
I'm going to go ahead and claim that Britain are a terrorist state as they continue to support the terrorist state of Israel.
Is a thread started to discuss the killing of a british soldier by two terrorists really the place for such a pathetic statement.
I think this thread passed that point a long time ago tbh lad.
Really, even on the page before this one people are still discussing the topic at hand and how people may come to radicalised into commiting such a crime.
Declaring your own country a terrorist and by association a soldier of that country, thats just been murdered, likewise is a bit beyond the pale for me, lad.
Don't think anybody has called or implied that Lee Rigby was a terrorist...
The hatred towards this country by some people is unreal. If you genuinely hate the uk that much leave, honestly if these muslim countrys are so wonderful why would you not go there? Serious question, if you have a british passport, you can go anywere in europe so why not leave? Oh and regarding the Israel question its far to complicated to simply blame one side, we could go on for hours and never even scratch the surface.
Milošević had a separate trail he died just before it gave its verdict, its online in full if you want to read it lasted four years,So the British government is the international authority on which people should rule in their own country, and if they do not like them, then the British government has the right to get rid of them. Edge, As I've said before I agree we should have no involvment with other country whatsoever. That includes political asylum and foreign aid as both could be classed as interference. I'm no fan of ANY of our politicians but for people to say that you could class them as terrorists is madness. Mercenarys maybe but, terrorists come on!
good post there mate.I want to shut the borders as much as anyone but in terms of involving ourselves in the rest of the world - there's just no way we can sit back and let it all happen.
To take the muslim issue away from this slightly - look at North Korea. That's somewhere that a modern, democratic "1st world" country cannot just sit back and let it play out.
