I was seein' some bird from quarry st a few years ago, lived opposite the cobden, a few doors up from Simon O'Brien (Damon Grant off brookside) Nice area......quiet. Rarely went the tesco's though, went to the asda at the bottom by the hillfoot boozer.

Woolton is nice, but people from Woolton dont shop in that tesco. just people from Halewood.

It's ok round there. Quite affluent in parts.

Pienaar and a few other players live there lid!

Nice place. Not that easy to get to if youdon't drive though.

That's right by where I live mate, nice area. Woolton Village is decent for a few pints as well, although there are a few ex RS players who drink there.

Seems pretty encouraging then, quite pleased will go and have a look tomorrow. Haven't got a car yet though so will have a look at nearest stations or get the bus

South Parkway is a mile or so from the Tesco. Best to bus it at first to get your bearings n that.

good luck in the new job

There is a bus that goes from South Parkway to Woolton village, can't remember what number it is though. I will try and find out. Although it is hard to get lost as you just have to walk straight up the road and you will get to the tesco.

It would take like 20 minutes to walk there.

That's not too bad provided its not pissing down

Cheers mate

Yeah think i will! Is liverpool south park way any closer? looks a similar distance on the map

I don't think so. Where've you gotta travel from? Haven't been round that way for about 5yrs now, but from town you used to be able to get the 4 or 5 bus to the derby arms boozer on high st or the 78(?) to the elephant and walk down from there (About 4-5mins) but don't know what numbers they are now (If they've changed, that is).

Anyone know this area?

Was supposed to start a job in Prescott in July but been moved to the Woolton store instead, I don't know either area so is this a good thing?

Expecting plenty of wool jokes (y)

People have a very high opinion of themselves, an tend to wear brown brogues.

Also, full of kopites.
