Wolves will be disappointed with only 3-0. They battered us. We where very passive and ball watching whilst Wolves always had spare players due to good movement.
This is a game that I firmly put the blame on Dyche....Keane for Gods sake does not work. Just keep Branth and Tarks in the centre and cease with 5 at the back.

Half time we should have switched about but Dyche didn't. It wasn't working and we were fortunate to go in at half time just 1 goal down yet more of the same 2nd half. That stinks of stubborness. This Dyche fit might be a temporary thing that catches up on players as we looked to be playing on fumes.

Got to be possibly Dyches worst game so far tactically.

Sean!!!!!! Don't play Keane ever again.......didn't you learn from last season. Surely as a manager that looks at stats can see that Keane is counter productive and we tend to concede bundles of goals when playing compared to when not playing. Training ground does not exactly translate to live matches

It's almost as if we hired a bloke with a 28% win rate and got a bit carried away with a few wins and battling form which we've not seen for a couple of years, isn't it.....
Yep, so many people were just so glad to see a team that would fight (which - to be fair - we have been, at least before today), that they have somehow convinced themselves that the manager is actually a good one, when most of the evidence of his career would clearly suggest otherwise.

He's a one-trick pony: he can get a team to build some team spirit and fight hard for a while. That's a start, and it will bring the occasional run of good results when the schedule lines up right and everybody stays healthy and the positive mood can carry everyone, but it's not enough to actually sustain success over a longer period of time.

I thought we looked tired and Wolves had more energy which showed and the squad strength is being exposed and we got what we deserved however that was the most one sided biased referee I have seen in a long long time. I mean talk about playing against 12 men, look no further than the booking of Tarkowski who not only didn't foul the player but cleanly won the ball first,no wonder one of the backroom staff got booked for calling him out on it.

The PL won't give us any of our deducted points back and we'll still finish comfortably midtable.

This is just a star-crossed game. Dawson's super spawny goal confirmed it.
We were second best from start to finish on every blade of grass. Taught a footballing lesson for most of the game. How anyone can think we will 'finish comfortably midtable' and magically overtake 6-7 teams by doing the same thing every week is beyond me. Any team with fewer than 20 points after 20 games should accept they are very much part of the relegation mix up, not midtable chasers.

I was thinking earlier this week that at least we won't have our usual New Years day rollover for a tickle but it came early instead

We don’t “really” have less than 20 points though, we got 26 in the first half of the season. We’ll need to play better than today for the rest of the season but I felt a lot less confident last season when we really did have less than 20 points.

Agree. 2nd best all over the pitch. We look knackered, didn't do our normal press and had Keane playing central in a back 5.

We had no fight yet we are dependant on fight.
