The man has had more injuries than appearances over the last 12 months, and whilst he certainly was not the sole reason for defeat tonight, no sensible person is going to say no to contract after contract worth a few million a time if it's offered.
I went to see us away at Watford under Lampard. Sat at the side as I couldn't get an away ticket and Seamus was cooked then. It's ludicrous he's still getting games.

Not having at go at Seamus, just lack of recruitment in that area.
In fairness, the club DID try to sign Kenny Tete who, as we all know, on a planet of 8 billion people is the only natural right back on earth other than Seamus or Ashley Young, so I'm quite optimistic that by 2039 we'll have addressed that area of the pitch (Sidibe and Martina might be looking for work?!?)

I don’t know why every manager we’ve had for ages thinks they can get away with putting weakened teams out in this competition.
Exactly. They behave like we’re Chelsea or City, like we have the luxury of the big clubs. We’re Everton ffs, and we haven’t seen a trophy in f**** years. Losing to Wolves who have been absolutely terrible is embarrassing.

They’ll probably use the week off when the next round comes up to go to Dubai for warm weather training.
YUP. Because nothing prepares the body for a game in -4c horizontal snow away at Stoke like tanning your b0ll0x in some middle eastern desert... (Big Sam must hate missing out on his free January jolly at some clubs expense).

Every single one of them looked like they'd rather be tucked up in bed at home watching Love Island than running round a cold pitch in the Midlands at 9pm on a Tuesday. Doubt any of them will be remotely arsed by this time tomorrow.
We lack quality in every position , even the basic stuff like receiving the ball ,controlling and passing ,it's so frustrating watching us lose possesion so easily every time a move looks promising because our players lack the basic skills
