So basically we have the FA Cup to look forward to each season, I’ll never understand why the League Cup is beneath us. The scab 6 all seem to enjoy adding it to their trophy cabinet. Ours just gathers dust.

They don't. Everyone plays a reserve team, it's just that their reserves are better. It's a pointless trophy that no other country other than Scotland bothers with.

Why is it a poor competition though? We haven’t won a trophy for decades, and aren’t winning the league - so why is it ok to just dismiss 50% of our trophy chances?
