Starting to feel the first signs of annoyance with Carlo. STILL with the 4-4-2... I hope he's only doing this because his transfer targets can fit into the system and the ones that aren't getting booted through the back doors this summer need to adapt.

I'm sort of fine with that if he's gaining knowledge of who fits and who doesn't.

Like any manager he's going to have an ideal way to play. When the season wasn't dead he was extremely flexible and accommodated the players into differing tactical setups. But if he's looking to the future and he has a Plan A in mind, then sifting out the deadwood now is better than just guessing about it.

Oh, Podence making his first PL Wolves start by the way, has never scored for Wolves... so get your money on him as a goalscorer. It's about as nailed on as anything gets.
