Hey there everyone,
In April we moved into a rented house around a mile from the house that has to be re-built. Last Thursday we finally got around to going down the cellar to see what was around. Most of the stuff down there was old boxes full of paperwork from the 1990s.

Then I came across a special box.

Inside was theese items.

Signed Photo of 'The Golden Vision' (Around A4 in size)
A Everton 1995 FA Cup Final Shirt signed by David Unsworth and Paul Rideout.
A Match-day program of the 1966 FA Cup Final
A match-day program of a game against Chelsea in the 1998-99 season signed by the squad.

I phoned up the landlord to tell him about the stuff we found and he told us we could keep it.

Sometime tomorrow I will upload the photos and scan the programs If I can get the USBs to work on my Laptop.

Wow sounds great, wonder if anything is of use to the France collection ??

I have loads of old programmes from the 70's and 80's but I dont suppose any are of use to the collection.

While we're on the subject of arl prog's , does anyone know any reds who may be interested in a swap ? I've got a few Lpool progs - me Uncle used to do their gate years ago . I've got the 1st Euro Cup Final prog , the semi final , other league champ' progs , a semi , lge cup , Arsenal 80 , and a Roger Hunt testimonial prog .
I'm looking for Everton progs of the 60's . If anyone knows anyone .

i remember going into a garage opposite where i lived as a kid, and there was a canvas with a painting of george best on (it wasnt a print as you could feel the layers of paint on the canvas).
it got a squirt of some blue paint that was in there and then i put my foot through it, enjoyed seeing the lads face who lived there when he finally saw it, the belter was a right bay city rollers dresser, and even though he was english he flew a lion rampant after they nicked the wembley pitch, that was removed as well.

quite a find, you must be like a dog with two tails.

I remember years ago when I read some replies, finding, at a former residence, a centenary or special coin involving the 1970 FA cup Final, (Leeds vs Chelsea), and some years later at school one day giving it away for a swap, or a small amount of cash only to be told after that it was worth a small fortune.

actually, the more I thought about it, the more I doubted this, probably wasn't worth much at all, and probably was thrown away soon after anyway, didn't give it much more thought.

Somewhere or other in the chaos that is my house, I've got a programme from the 1966 European Cup Winners Final at Hampden which Lpool lost to Borussia Dortmund. (Jeez, what a sweet summer that was. We win at wembley, they lose in Europe, England win the World Cup, we sign Bally and he romps all over them in the Goodison derby 3-1 if I recall...)

My arl fella also used to do the gate and sell progs at Anfield one week Goodison the next.

Also got progs from the sixties but not about to part with these.
