without fellaini we looked awful in midfield, I didn't see us make even 3 passing moves forward. from what i saw (on sky) we had no link up play what so ever. A few good movies but most came from a long ball up field. when we had pienaar and Bains on one side we always had link up play at least. anyone who says fella is lazy just needs to look at us without him. (long time reader of GOT, don't normally post)

Possession was woefully squandered throughout the game. It's just the simple stuff at times our players seem so inadequate at. Newcastle were there fo the taking.

We were bad today, However Newcastle were no better it was only our shaky defending that allowed them the upper hand, after that we were always going to struggle when we go behind.

We need to to score first in our games as we are not that strong in the final third of play.
