Was wondering if anyone knew anything about the Winslow pub outside Goodison. It has been closed for the last two games, has it been permanently shut down and why?

It is sad if this is the case, surely some Evertonian will purchase it and get it back up and running.

Used to be boss in the Winny, last time I was in there after a game it shut at 8pm on a saturday night.

Always been one of my ambitions to just go up there and have a few pints on a non-match night before I die. Just drink in the history, thinking about Dean and Royle and the rest. Smile and raise a glass or two. Just be there.

Be devastated if it was to close down for good. Surely not??

i work around there every day and not seen it open for about a month. Back in work Wednesday. Will do some snooping around for answers!!

It got raided by the police. We tried it at the Wigan match, then went to the one just down from there past the church which was heaving, and one of the fellas in there told us.
