I know I'm stating the obvious but we need to buy some in the summer. It's the key position we need to improve at the moment, along with an extra front man. We need two with pace, skill and control. It would make such a difference to our team. Personally I'd see Billy and Heitinga go to be replaced by two quality wingers.

Could be a shout. If Heitinga went though I'm sure Moyes would want to bring in at least one center half to cover Distin and Jags, and rightly so. Maybe he could find a loan or give Duffy, Dier and Mustafi 10 or 15 games between them.

You'd hope Bily, Heitinga, Yakubu, Yobo, Vaughan and Pienaar leaving would raise enough capital for at least a new winger and a new center forward. I'd be disappointed if Gueye doesn't start getting the odd game down the left next year as well.

Not even sure If I should I click 'submit reply,' this thread's going to be nothing but speculative mind-spew we've heard a load of times before.

Could be, two things we need are some width and pace.

Reading were a good example of that, every time they broke with their wide lids they scared the living sh*te out of us.

If Donovan came again next season would it just be between jan and march again? But I totally agree with the comments, a decent striker and a wing-man or two would be welcome additions!

It's painful isn't it Chico? When we play against fast teams Seamus looks like the only one with wheels. Everyone else is panting up the lines. (minus Distin)

I'm sick of the fallacy that Seamus has pace! He's like a terrior, no greyhound but tenacious and runs allday. Anyways back on it, best start throwing names of unwanted youth players and Championship fodder like

back in the day, when you did a poo on site in an empty cement bag and threw it out the window- that was called a `winger`

I agree with the wingers, we need some who has good ball control and likes to take on people, just like Arteta when he plays out wide. Only thing is......who?
