Brown played the match of his life. Nadal a shadow of his imperious best though.

Its like Groundhog day with Nadal at Wimbledon. Players know they can beat him on grass and he seems to be wary of the fact that he isn't as good as he once was which compounds the problem. Players also know to beat Nadal on grass all they need to do is serve and volley, for some reason he really struggles against it.

Hopefully next year he can come back with new mind set and give it a go.

Not been the same since that lengthy injury lay off. I fear he may never reach his previous levels again. Be a shame for the game. One of the best ever.

yeah too true, although i cant help think most of it is mental rather than physical.
 
Always good to see the snivelly little rat face git out in the early rounds. what a player that Brown is, unbelievable stuff!

Defo has his demons. That twitchy precursor to every shot, bills out of arse...ear...nose...other ear...nose...first ear again...
drives me mad, he gets worse as the game goes on. He'd be sh1te at poker.
