I'll bite--and this is probably because as an American I don't understand the significance--but how does a copy of his Portuguese citizenship documentation prove he's coming to us? I may have missed some context.

The assumption being it has been leaked by someone at the club.

More so that Everton 'allegedly' have his ID, which could very well signal a deal is close.

I suspect that the new people representing him had to prove they were actually his reps and send some personal documentation over to the club. Someone got their hands on it and to show their ITK status lobbed it up on the forum.
