Cork Evertonian

Player Valuation: £50m
1896 1915 1928 1932 1939 1963 1970 1985 and 1987.I was only three years old when we last won a league title. Will it ever happen again? Will we see an Everton captain lifting our 10th league trophy in our lifetimes? It's my desire to see us being number 1 again and who knows it might happen within the next 20 years. There will be giggles and laughter over on RAWK when they see this thread but fcuk them we don't care what the Red Shyte think. Why the fcuk should we care.:)

This club needs a BIG change to even be in contention in with a title, a takeover would be a nice start.

Yes it will.

The key is the way those years are spread out.

We will take the title again one of these fine days and achieve yet another "first".

The first team to be Champions of England in three different centuries.

Keep the faith all you young Blues.

There were times in the 1970s and early 80s when relegation looked more likely than siverware.

We'll be back.

The trend appears to be buy a club and throw money at it for a few seasons then see where you are. There isn't a lot of big money buyouts but the world economy will probs pick up again at some point and some rich mofo will probably want either a vanity project or a business that brings global exposure.

We're one of the few clubs left to have not been through that process so it could happen. A lot would depend on who the manager is when or if it happens.

Not unless we somehow manage to find some rich arab or russian who wants to play real life football manager.

If certain Russians get done for tax/money laundering/trumped up charges.

If oil runs out.

If some wool in Lancashire become shale gas zillionaires.

No problem.

It'll take money for us to do it or a complete change in the way the game operates

I don't see either happening in the near future

All FFP will do is entrench the already established hierarchy in English football. I expect things to get worse before they get better

Sadly it look's the league title is now a trophy shared between both Manchester clubs,Chelsea and to a lesser extent Arsenal.Spurs possibly could break into that elite.I think the more sensible Liverpool fans (and they do exist!) know that their in the same position as us when it comes to winning league titles.Thank god they bottled their chance to win the title in 09!

Can't see it myself. Look how hard it would be to win it WITH rich owners in charge, you'd still be up against the other rich boys! Without that investment we ain't got a cat in hells chance.

As said FFP unfortunately is gonna do nothing but cement everyone to there standings AND make that rich billionaire look anywhere but here.

Or moyes goes, martinez comes in takes us down, then big Dunc wins us the championship!

Yes it will. It is ludicrous to think that we will never ever win a league title again. It may not be for 10 years, 20 years or even 30 years, but I am pretty sure that some time in the future we will win the league again
