Player Valuation: £10m
We usually lose one big name player in the summer, usually under acrimonious circumstances, but sweetended by a good cash return.

2013 - Fellaini
2012 - Rodwell
2011 - Arteta
2010 -
2009 - Lescott

I hope Roberto can keep this team together and bring in some new faces, but will the lure of money prove too much for Barkley, Stones, or one of the others?

Will history repeat itself?

We have just received £85,027,727 so I hope we don't have to sell...anyone.

......certainly in the case of 3 of these the players forced the move. I think this is a key aspect, so if it is to happen this time I suspect a player will be the key to making it happen. Not sure we have anybody of that ilk at the moment.

Bale went for 100 million...and he's Welsh!
We have two of the biggest young English talents knocking around. We need to let them peak before we go selling them for small change (£30 million). Barkley and Stones may well leave at some point, but not for at least another season or two, and then it will be to Europe's Elite! For astronomical sums.

Barkley won't push for a move. Coleman won't push for a move. The only player that I can see pushing for a move would be Mirallas, but even there I'm not too sure. He has stated a desire to play in Spain at some point, but I think he is happy here atm.

Don't see anyone big going or even wanting to currently. Not worried at all.

Infact the only one I could see wanting a move at some point soon or tempted elsewhere is mirallas!

How about Spanish style footie? Okay, cool, got it, close enough.

Mirallas is such an important player. We need to tie up his contract.

That's how I feel. Can't remember a transfer window that I felt so calm (confident even) about.

Please don't disappoint me Everton.

are you new here?

Nope.

I'm usually anxiously clicking between a million forums on transfer deadline day for positive news, before sloping off to bed frustrated at 2am when "we go with what we've got".

For some reason I don't think we will lose our better players, it must be Bobby's positivity.

The reality is we're signing Rio and Zamora and being fleeced for our young players aren't we? Damn! Ah well, heard we are in talks with 47 potential investors.

Which 3 pushed for a move?? Lescott definitely pushed for one, not sure about the rest.

...if I remember rightly, Arteta was very keen to go and made that clear as soon as interest was known. Fellaini was apparently so keen to push a deadline deal through that he lost any % he might've been entitled to if we had simply accepted the offer.
