I don't know of one Palace fan who would agree with you there mate. Bolasie has been a fantastic signing for us and is a bit of a Palace folk hero but in comparing him to Zaha it would be like comparing an untamed mustang to Frankel. Bolasie doesn't have Wilf's consistency and can be a bit wild. Great skills and they work well as a wide pair. One of the potential downsides of Wilf leaving will be the effect on Bolasie's performance. Hopefully, he will step up to the task.

Ahh i see mate just what i've seen of yous this season (I follow Palace as a second team) and i've thought Bolaise was better but i think that's just me.

Nev, you have a goodun mate. I've been going since 68 and I would put only Lombardo and the young Kenny Sansom in front of him for all round natural ability. Tremendous technical skill levels combined with a great temperament and work ethic. Not a natural goalscorer but his skill on the ball often leave him in a position (having passed several defenders) where he might as well have a go and invariably then he scores. Level headed and modest young fella and will no doubt improve at yours. It was inevitable that we would lose him but at least we got a fair valuation this time (Â£2m for Moses when we were in Admin!) and the loan back is invaluable. Good luck to Wilf...........taxi for Young!

Not sure. We ought to go up, this is the best Palace team since relegation from the Premier league in 2005 but as a squad is still a bit threadbare particularly in central defence. Cardiff will go up and then it's from Us, Leicester, Hull, Watford and 'Boro. Wouldn't rule Brig**on out for a late run to the play offs either, just the sort of sneaky thing they would do.

Jury is out on Holloway.He is a character all right and the sort of manager that players like to play for (a bit like 'Arry) but so far his inability to get sides to close games out has cost us more than once.
If that all sounds a bit pessimistic from a supporter of a club who has been in Administration twice in 12 years, who now have the best owners in 50 years, the best team in 8 years, well........this is Palace after all, it's bound to go t*ts up before too long.
