Why won't anyone buy Everton?

They won't have a clue.

Unless they get someone in from the blue union. Other than that they'll bang on about the usual outsider stuff

I'm sure that will be a wonderful discussion full of facts and level-headed commentary.

Why can't we have anyone with a brain calling in? Someone to mention the 2 emails, for example? Lyndon Lloyd, perchance? Instead we get claptrap about how evil Liverpool FC's fans are...

Off topic llike....but that Fernandes at qpr can't half talk a good game, seems sound as.

Any Durham is a ****. Keeps banging on that Citeh are on par with barca...

I think we have problems due to debt and a poor stadium. To seriously improve us could potentially cost more then getting a team like QPR to survive. Not definitely, but that's one of my hypothesis. If someone is seeing it as an investment then it would be hard for them to see them getting any return on it. We'd either have to get a sugar daddy and run the risk of them getting bored and buggering off, or we need a fan richer then Kenwright. Personally i think we should have marketed Everton massively in India so that all their billionares love us :P otherwise Sylvester Stallone just needs to make about 10 more Rambo's so he can buy us a new stadium.

I think we just need to market ourselves as the last outpost of British Footballing tradition.

The Peoples Club.

The School of Science.

We've got all the weapons to really play on peoples heart-strings, build a bigger fan base and position ourselves as the originators of the beautiful game and the Pioneers we have been. At the moment the board have NO IDEA how to market our team.

Goodison needs renovating and expanding, not modernising. The Home of Football. Don't the Government hand out Money to rebuild these kinds of heritage stadia? Put your hands out FFS. Man City got a BRAND NEW STADIUM, how does that happen?

A new stadium has a lot to do with it, but there are also major flaws in the operational side of the business. A potential investor will need to see some return on his layout, unless he just want to spunk £500 million up the wall, and Everton do not have any other form of income other the ticket and sky monies.

The club, or Robert Elston as CEO, needs to seriously look at every possibility of cash generation. Some serious mistakes have been made with financials at Everton, trying to service the debt by selling off every asset can only be a negative for potential owners
