Nah not really.

Ferguson had the potential to be a fantastic player. He was a lot better than many give him credit for ability wise. However he did not show that often enough due to a combination of being injured or suspended or just not bothering a lot of the time. What he did provide was great memories especially against Liverpool and Man Utd and he was our most important player back then which makes his missing loads of games even more annoying.

Again he was inspirational and motivational when he could be bothered and when he could be bothered it was great, but it wasn't often enough. I like my heroes to give their all every single game (Cahill for example).

Fair enuff ! Not saying he is my all time favourite or anything like that,just think he should be acknowledged for being one of Everton's 'special' players(warts and all)
