#1 - We need to keep Felli. I'm not at all convinced he was misquoted in the Belg rag. If we're going to keep him, we need to have CL football to sell.

#2 - We need the dosh. The rest of the league has us outclassed in terms of money to spend we all know that. IN order to keep moving forward, we need to "overachieve" and make it count (group stages) unlike last time.

#3 - We fecking deserve it as fans. Best fans in the worldz. A little ROI on our passion wouldn't be out of order.

It's the only thing we can do in a footballing sense that will change our fortunes in a positive way. Finishing 5th and winning both cups would mean a huge amount to the fans but to attract footballers and earn money you have to be in the CL group stages.

Don't really think it's likely unfortunately. People are doing reverse kneejerking and being overly positive.

We're five games in, and although we've done well and played some super football, some old problems have reared their ugly heads again -- unable to break down stubborn, well drilled defences that set out to defend, reliance on 'favourites' who are clearly not good enough, not being nearly clinical enough and more.

There is a hell of a lot more to get excited about than last season, but if you get expectant you will always be disappointed. This is Everton.

Yep, that is pretty much what Ive been saying to everyone.

If we dont do it this year then we wont for a long, long time.

JD I love you like a father figure but that comparison to Ireland hurt my soul.

Silly leprachaun loving guiness drinking blertfaces ffs.

i think we might just squeeze in...the money side of it is more of how you spend the money rather than how much you spend....in my opinion, i think Moyes has spent consistently well for the most part all of the time he has been at Everton....roll on 4th place and a cup this season...!
