Not all our animals are deadly mate some are cute and cuddly, Koalas, Bilby's, Wallabies, Nurse Sharks, Sun Bather's, Green Tree Snakes ........ OK I'm running out of examples here but you know what I mean.

I've lived here 16 years now and so far have only lost one leg to a shark bite and a couple of fingers to a crocodile, can't see how that's dangerous?
some weird BIG insects over ther degs, looks like you needed to wrestle with half them never mind swat them with the paper, and lizards in the streets like cats frillys and blue tougues just waiting to pounce, i used to feed a blue tougue lizard every morning while i was there with cockroaches i had killed during the night, used to come over and feed right by me, but came a cropper when i was mowing the lawn and had its head chopped off by the mower, took me ages to catch it the mower was really heavy not made for hunting at all, but managed that and snake with it

Top work there edge, the animals can be sneaky bastards when they know you're after them, should have seen the way I had to swerve around at 120KM/H to get a Roo a couple of months back, few hairy moments there.

I've found you're generally safe if you spend your life wearing a full Kevlar suit, bit of a bugger with the prosthetic leg and hard to get on missing a few fingers.

sound mate, bit quite around troulos were we were but hotel was brill, family run supposed to be 4 star but nearer 5 star, nice beaches , and hired a boat out for a day to visit islands and beaches you could only get to by boat, the town was booming , lots of cool euro types mixed with decent brits, kurt russell and goldie were there but i didnt see them everbody else seemed to though, boss place need to get a grip of ale prices though or there greed will ruin the place, staff on 3.20 euro an hour selling vodka and coke at 8 euro a pop not going to entice people to visit, the brit pubs ,bars which i normally avoid were rakeing it in ,by charging the same as here, deffo one of the best greek islands and best places in the med ,few yanks there as well not as many on santorini tho

Best run-on sentence, ever...

I only say this 'cause he can't reach me.

get a robotic one grafted on degs , like a steve austin and use it to hoof the sneaky critters , found the roo to be a bit cheeky myself ,bit of a hard case , but not hard enough i suspect if it would stay still. while i got a good run up with the old mower id teach it not to be giving it the old boucing around the street, giving it the big come on stance, dont think i would take an emu on with a mower though, got that look about them that says just try it and i will stick that right up your arse soft lad, might take a good heavy duty strimmer to stand a decent chance, any tips on taking an emu on while gardening/hunting degs?

Emus are easy mate, but you need a ride on Mower, something with a bit of power cause they're pretty quick. Drive alongside them flat out, when you're matching speed just swerve towards them and bingo Emu steaks for dinner. Obviously needs a pretty big back yard to get the speed up. Kangaroos are a little smarter if you can sneak up on them they'll just jump out in front of you and wham, it get's harder when they're at speed.

Hope this helps for your next visit Edge.

Mostly of German ancestry, though it seems most are unwilling to claim it:

Come to St. Louis. Every surname here is either German or Irish. You won't get an argument out of me.

ta degs, will try it next time, the local tips are important to the gardening hunter, it not much fun here in the uk, but oz or usa the places to be loads to kill , while tending to the borders.

Pleasure mate, anything to help, see you next time you're over. Just fly in to Sydney and head north for 10 hours.

Relative to the UK both America and Australia are miles better overall. If I was 18 and had no ties I'd be off to either in a second. Land of opportunity and all that
