This really. As soon as I hear a northern accent it's safe to assume you're in the company of someone that has experienced a ridiculous amount of sex with one of their own relations. Can anyone blame certain members mums encouraging @micknick to climb into bed with them, must have made a nice change to have an 'outsider'

Accents are alright and everything, it's when people can't tell what you're saying because you mangle words up so horrifically that it's a problem - then you need to have a word with yourself.

Preferably written down, so you can understand it.

There's no such thing as ( much as the pedants would have you think different ) as proper English

It's the world's universal language

Look at those multi lingual sets of instructions for almost any thing, the English version is more than likely the shortest ( and thus most concise at passing information per word )


English changing, evolving and lets not put too finer point on if, flat out pinching words from all and sundry for 2000+ years.

People's accents can change over time. Jan Molby was a funny one he developed quite a scouse accent I allways found quite amusing.
