Why Do We Let It Happen

Ralphie Boy

Player Valuation: £8m
So worst case scenario is that the call from Chelski is too great for young Stones and he goes, we get a bucket load of money which Kenwrong gives RM for new players which all seems great for the team.

But my issue as I'm sure with thousands of others is that with all the TV money received into the club why are we never spending that?

Recent transfers are either financed by selling going back as far as Rooney, or major signings are by paying over a few seasons such as Lukaku but we never seem to spend the TV money.

Other clubs who are deemed smaller than us spend what has to be TV revenue as they do not sell major players as they invariably don't have them but we do.

Are we sitting with a massive pot of gold ready for a new stadium? Are we lining major shareholder pockets? Or are we one of the few clubs who have massive 'other operating costs' in our financial ledger?

Baffled.....

We have a board who don't put in a single penny, are tied into sponsorship deals that are dwarfed by some, and have loans with very high interest rates and a fragile relationship with the banks.
