This, I'd say. I heard him say last week (not sure if on Soccer Saturday or Fantasy Football show) that he really liked and rated us. A proper football club he called us.

I can't understand why anyone would want to use that topic to stir anger between the clubs, it's the one thing we have supported them over for 28 years. Hopefully he'll get what he fully deserves the rat.

I'm getting the impression that the whole world and planet sky are starting to warm to the sleeping giant that is Everton Football Club. Maybe they know that they're gonna start making money on the back of us. But then again, maybe not.

In fairness to Merson, and I only caught the end of the discussion on Saturday, but they were talking about some coach producing an 80 page tactical dossier (maybe it was Brenda's job application) but Merson's comment was that he had never read a book that was 80 pages long!

I wouldn't take him too seriously, and I do believe he has a soft spot for EFC.
