Maybe a Dutchman but my vote goes to Koeman.

He has managed Valencia and knows the Premier League. Also, has done well in the transfer market which
for me is the clincher.

De Boer is still a novice.

End of the day, we are a long shot for him, but stranger things have happened.

Rodgers was one slip or a blown 3-0 lead away from winning the League
Ranieri who had in the past finished 2nd in the Premiership, Spanish first divison and Italian first division was appointed as Leicester manager
The same Ranieri has just won the league for a team that has not spent as much as Man United have in the past 3 seasons in the clubs entire history.
Steve McClaren continues to find employers
Buster Douglas knocked out Mike Tyson
Marilyn Monroe married Arthur Miller
America are probably going to elect Donald 'expletive' Trump

Joking aside though, Mourinho has either burnt bridges to manage certain teams (Arsenal, Barca, AC, Juve etc) has basically dismissed others himself (rs, entire french league) has already managed the team (Inter, Chelsea, Madrid) etc

Their isn't a huge amount of clubs that he wants to go and that want him, United being the exception really and even they are massively split about hiring him throughout the club, we won't be his first option but we may well be his best option

I think Jose's not obvious step is international management.

Should be several big jobs opening up after the Euros.

Or he might fancy guiding Portugal to the next World Cup, if they are looking for a manager.

I have 2 bets pending. One placed two days ago on Mourinho ( based purely on "his people are still talking to our people". ).
The other placed a couple of years ago on us being Rooneys next club. I feel I'm about to become filthy stinking rich.

You bet with your heart my friend, I assume your homeless at this stage?

Already came out and said that International management isn't for him yet, that he sees that as something for later in his career mate, think myself 1 or 2 jobs away from going the portugal manager job

Okay.....I never knew that :)

Happen we might see him here then ;)

Can someone tell me why we would even consider Avb? He looked utterly clueless at spurs...? Seems like a roll of the dice, at best. Given our position I think we ought to be buying in a manager who is more or less going to guarantee success in order to give us a chance to keep the likes of stones barkley and Lukaku
