The manager has lost the payers both are to blame but Bobby has lost them I think.

Both sets are liable, but the 'buck' has to eventually end with the manager: he picks the squad; chooses the tactics; meant to inspire.

The players are making mistakes and many seem disinterested, however they can be results of the manager doing / not doing the above.
