The fact they are delaying gives me hope
but what's driving the delay - is there someone else that is currently unemployed that they cannot get to interview. Or is Mosh trying to find a mirror of the right size so he can discuss his decision with the other Board members who have influence.
Just name a new manager - delay is a disaster...

I'd just employ the world's best set piece specialist coach as manager and practice routines all day every day until the end of the season.

It is understood that Lampard has strong support from sections of the Everton board, with CEO Denise Barrett-Baxendale said to be among those pushing the Chelsea legend’s claims.

However, it is now likely that Everton will take stock for the next 48 hours before making a decision on their next move.

Basically Clough and Taylor

Be a brave manager who takes this on with the relationship between the fans and club.
Or a desperate one.
Said this myself. If I was present manager in or out of work. I would think twice about taken the job regardless of how much I love the club. Too many chiefs at the club, then the main chief doing what he pleases. At the end of the day he can because he owns the club and has put his money into it. But he is just costing himself money at the end of the day, by making these poor advised decisions. Yet all the money he has put into the club he makes back within a year. So he just carries on, yet the club suffers. As many people of said you have to brave or stupid to take the everton job at this moment.

The same CEO who is supposed to be looking for a new job outside of football.

The oddness of Everton.
