The players are poor…but they aren’t relegation battle poor. Plenty of managers who should be fighting too half with this group imo.

The table doesn't lie. The defending today was abysmal, against the worst in the league.

Whoever comes in needs to get back to basics, it's too far gone in the season for a novice to come and experiment with systems.

We need to break the bank and get a leader in the back four.

They showed relegation form in the second half of last season. So effectively a full season of relegation form

but where are you on Rooney compared to Frank Lampard ? If we go for a less proven manager it has got to be Rooney over Lampard any day. Nothing suggesting Lampard will cut it here. I rather have a guy passionate about the club who also wants to work with Duncan

Why is a requirement he wants to work with Duncan? How has he justified his place?

The next appointment has to be right or it’s the Championship here we come. Big problem is it will be another Moshiri selection, there’s not even a Director of Football to advise not that he’d listen anyway. The FFP problems haven’t disappeared so any new manager won’t have much money, if any to spend. The postponed games haven’t helped as on current form they would have been losses and Benitez could have been dismissed before he had the chance to spend in this window.

Don't want to sign Rooney or dunc because they are blues. The two are best mates and could Duncan work under Rooney and both still haven't proved they can do it.

I just want a modern tactical manager who understands the bleeding game and I want the best one we can get.
