A Premier League keeper would probably have saved Dowell's shot, not many in the world would have have saved Rooneys. Doesn't mean Dowell's wasn't well hit, and he deserves credit for taking the shot on. You don't hit it, you don't have any chance of scoring. The lads got great technique, and has scored far better goals.
