ok, we have a budget of 15mill, thats the mcfadden + aj money.(i figure the tv money went towards paying off the debt we built up last year) who would you guys go for?? Considering we need at least 3 midfielders in, it's pretty tough to get any sort of quality.

And thats fine with me. It will keep us contending in europe. Feranndes and M'Bia are both fantastic, and smith can cover as a midfield or striker

However if we bid £15 million before we sold johnson that means we should have £25 million.

It's no longer a case of who we'd like to sign. It's who's available. Everton were prepared to spend more like £25m to bring in Moutinho and M'Bia, and pay Tiago's wages. There just aren't that many other options out there who could do a job for us.

It would be worth seeing if Middlesborough really want to keep Tuncay. Again this would have been better tried earlier as they will be looking to replace him. I'd guess they'd let him go for £6-8m.

So has that buy out clause run out now on blake, Agree should have bagged him in May. Seemed like an ideal moyes type signing to me, Seeing as a big money striker wasnt our main priority.
