Player Valuation: £80m
with new tv money and newly promoted teams, theres bound to be a bit of money around.. for us to progress do we need to look at selling underperforming/older players?..so who would you sell and how much do you think we would get?

obvious ones - naismith 2mill? heitinga 4 mill?

more controversially pienaar, 3/4 mill? howard 2 mill?

Wouldnt sell anyone to be honest unless a crazy bid came like the rumoured £20-odd-millionn for Felli. Dont think our squad is large enought to warrant selling.

No excuse with the new TV deal, and £8m apparently already available from the Fer deal.
 
I think we'd get £2mil maximum on each of those players due to Pienaar's age, Heitinga's wages etc. 4 very importantant squad places we would need to replace with very little money. I'd still get rid of Naismith though...

heitinga, but with one year remaining I can see him running down his contract and signing for ajax for free with a nice signing on fee.
 
If we can get hold of Lescott for a decent price and a decent goalscorer then sell Naismith and Heitinga.

Clubs will bang the door down for Fellaini in the summer. Do you think it'll be hard to replace him?
 
I'd just let Heitinga go now for a nominal fee and free up the wage. I don't reckon anyone will pay money for him.

I think Naismith is a given although I'd be prepared to sell Distin if anyone would give us 3 or 4 mill for him which I am not sure they will.
 
I'd sell the entire squad, the manager, the board, the kit man, the ground, the training grounds, the sponsorship deals, the image rights, the kit rights, and the commercial wing.

Heitinga (If he doesn't sign a new contract) - 3m
Naismith - 2m
Gueye - 2m

Neville, Hitz and Mucha will also be off on frees.
 
Fellaini is a tremendous player but if someone comes in with a £20m+ bid, it's going to be hard to turn that down.

If he's stays great but if he goes for good money I won't unhappy with it, he seems to want to move on as well.

We should be looking for 25-30, imo. That's what other top in demand midfielders have gone for.
