Who will VAR support in the clash against Brentford?

Might has well have a bunch of chimpanzees running VAR on Wednesday night. No one cares whether its IrreleventFord or EverWho that finishes 12th or 15th or 11th or 16th; VAR is there to make sure Salah gets his obligatory penalty every week, that 60k RS get appeased, that ManU get propped up in the league, that Arsenal get the calls, that Pep doesn't get offended, that the big boys solidify the most lucrative sports product on the planet wherever possible. (Give or take a small dose of hyperbole on my part).

7.30pm kickoff on a midweek night, you'd have to be a mug to believe the gimps sitting in some office in Stockley Park care more about the correct decisions that have zero relevance in the bigger scheme of things than stuffing their fat faces with whatever is on the deliveroo order this week. #RantOver

I don't see there being any controversy, this is a 'nothing' game between two no-mark clubs, as far as 'the powers that be' are concerned.

I don’t think that’s how it works, it depends on which “storyline” the VAR prefers.

Do they back the busy bees, wanting to see Brentford shooting for Europe and the wheels come off the Moyes Toffees revival!?

Or would they prefer to see a hard fought 3 points for the Tough Toffees, derailing the brave bees push for Europe?!

Third Option VAR prefers to serve up a game of two half’s, ultimately ending in a draw, a point a piece and honours even?!

Only VAR can decide

There won’t be anything contentious.
Lovely little Brentford will just be all apologetic if something occurs, roll out the nice ex-Sky lady and implore Hooper to give any decision in favour of the Toffees. We can’t be having any shenanigans at the Brentford Community Stadium - it might disrupt the Knit and Natter Circle at half time.

The way var is used, it's nothing more than an extra line of help for the Sky 6. A last line of defence, provided by the Premier League.

They won't care in the slightest about Brentford or Everton.
