Think they are capable of beating City; Chelsea is a different story. Mourinho is a tactical kingpin and he has the capability of killing that game off before its started.

Begs the question...

Would we prefer to lose vs Chelsea/Man City if it prevented Liverpool from winning the league?

I think we are getting distracted by Liverpool's results. Let them continue because they will slip up against City or Chelsea but we are still in the race.

As Liverpool push on, ourselves and Spurs have to keep battling because Arsenal face the toughest run of fixtures in the league, FA cup & Champs League. This is the team who have the most to lose & the most at stake.

We can mount a challenge & grab 4th off Arsenal & Spurs!

Its not a case of looking at other teams. When we were in fourth we had a nice set of fixtures to look forward to and we blew it then. It wasnt even the Sunderland game that I blame as that was just unlucky going down to ten men. The fixtures where we ruined our chances were Stoke away and west brom away. We should have won those games and if you want to finish fourth its the teams who win their easy away games as well as be consistent at home that will prevail. We have been great at home but our away form has dropped. Maybe if we didnt have the injuries we would of been ok but its no excuse really. We just arent good enough for top 4.

Postponed game gives us chance to regroup and put our strongest team out from now untill the end of the season. Can't do anything apart from keep churning out results. Not going to flip out every time them lot win, not going to lose it if we drop points. It may not go our way and we should probably be better equipped than we are but we should just do what we can.

Too f****g right we should -- it matters [Poor language removed] all whether we finish 5th, 6th or 7th; it matters big style that the RS don't win the league. Could anyone really be prepared to have to put up with that big-mouthed pack of ****s handing out the stick to us again in the way they did post Istanbul? If you can you must have short memories or have been resident in f***g Siberia in 2005.

Get it into your heads -- us and the RS are in direct competition for supporters, both locally and nationally (forget the global dimension). What's good for them is a total disaster for us, in both the immediate and the longer term. Frankly, I'd settle for 17th this season if it came with them not finishing top.

Swerve that immediately you mental [Poor language removed]. Everton should go out every game to get a result.

Agree with this to be honest. People saying they haven't got a chance of winning it are wrong, they're 4 points off the top with Chelsea and City to play at home, and they're in the best form of anyone right now.

Was that a yes or a no, then?

I put them as equal favourites as I believe they will destroy City's defence at Analfield and also beat Chelsea (although Mourinho's tactics will limit the damage). Face it people, Liverpool have an absolute world class strike force and also have made a pact with Devil (ie they are also incredibly lucky), and in Gerrard, they have a very strong captain who can manipulate refs.
Make no mistake, Liverpool are in the hunt for the championship
