Who Was The Best Of All Time.

Best.

Pele looked better on the big stage because of the team he played in, as with all of those players in fact.

Pele is widely regarded because he had a great team and is a great role model. On sheer talent though I'd probably go with Maradona because he played in a [Poor language removed] Argentina side and won things in club football in Europe, something Pele never did.

I wouldn't say maradona played in a [Poor language removed] Argentine side, they won the world cup and one man no matter how good can do that.

Well no, perhaps [Poor language removed] was an exageration, but they weren't good, either in 1986 or 1990 yet he dragged them to the final both times. The Brazil teams in 1958 and 1970 in particular are up there with the best of all time, with or without Pele.

My favourites would be Zizou, Platini and Cruyff. But to answer the question who is the best then surely it's got to be Pele. He's scored over 1,200 goals and he's still modest with it (read his autobiography if you don't believe me :P). Top bloke.

Best, effortless, poetry in motion, pure genius, although i suppose you could make a good case for any in that list.

Out of:

Zidane.
Pele.
Maradonna.
Best.
Cruif.
Puskas.
Di Stefino.
Platini

Anyone Ive Left out?

Pele for me.

Out of those you listed, I would go for Platini. I never saw Pele, Best, Puskas etc, only short clips on tv so I can't say one of them was the best in the world based on that. maradona was the most skilful with the ball at his feet, but Platini contributed much more to the team

You lot really should be ashamed of yoursaelves
