Who should play where?

Player Valuation: £40m
We have so many players in our team at the moment that don't really have a definite position identified for them.

Moyes will soon have to make a decision and stick to it once our players are fit, but exactly who should play where?

It will be interesting to see your views on this subject.

1st names on the team sheet.

Howard
????? Jags ???? Baines
Neville/Heitinga
????? Arteta Pienaar
Cahill/Fellaini
Yak/Saha

Everyone else...fight for those empty places.

Im gonna be honest, I aint got a clue what my "best 11" would be. As others have done, it would have these players in tho :

Howard GK
Baines LB
Jags CB
Neville ??
Arteta CM
Fellaini CM
Pienaar LM
Billy ??
Heitinga ??

Which is very unbalanced, I know.

If we look at our defensive options, there are now quite a lot of players able to fight for a place:

Hibbert
Coleman
Neill
Duffy
Yobo
Jagielka
Distin
Baines
Heitinga

Our midfield becomes yet another headache:

Neville
Osman
Gosling
Pienaar
Fellaini
Bilyaletdinov
Rodwell
Arteta
Cahill

Strikers not so difficult, though we need more senior options:

Yakubu
Saha
Baxter
Aggard
Vaughan
Anichebe

Jo
Donovan

We definitely need a good backup keeper:

Howard
Nash
Ruddy
Turner

Heitinga played for Ajax as a central midfielder:D, But there can also play Rodwell and Fellaini

You know what I like about Johnny. He looks hard.

We need some scary players. the opposition used to change shorts twice when they saw Big Duncs name on the team sheet.

Johnny should play in a defensive midfield role, but will not play every game.

Rotation is a big part of total football. So even though i think this is his best position, I don't think he should play every game and in the same position.(y)

Another headache is whether to play 441 or 442.

If we want to try and incorporate our midfield talent, then 441 might be an option.

That's not always popular with the fans though.

Another drastic option would be to play with no strikers at all.

We've got loads good of players....!!!:D

we could do some serious damage with a full squad. hopefully to Tottenham so Wobblehead will be brought down a few pegs when we smash em at WHL.

This isn't about a starting 11 though, so let's not turn it into one, as there is already another thread for that.

This is about which player should be given which position, and made to stick with it. (y)

Didn't we do that last season? we did alright didn't we...:D

We would all love to play 4-4-2, but at the moment we dont have the players available, im sure when everybody is back Moyes will have a little play with a few things, hes got options all over the place, coming out of his ears they are.
