As, by all accounts a good all-round human being and one who has been a brilliant ambassador for the club in spite of perceived failings on the pitch in the last two or three years, Seamus Coleman.
Having watched Everton since 1963, I can honestly say that the current crop are just something you could scoop up in a small plastic bag and throw it in the bin (or hang it on someone's fence, depending on where you live).
Right up there with Danny Rowe in the pantheon of greats.
Everton wise, I like Richarlison, Calvert-Lewin, James, Allan, Digne, Godfrey, Mina, Coleman, Doucoure and I'm coming around to Pickford. That's almost a very decent line up if all fit and 100%.
However, I cannot help but think that Delph is the dictionary definition of an Everton player. Overpaid, doesn't want to be here, but ain't leaving until he's had his last penny.
Someone asked me this in a pub recently and i was stumped. Probably big Nev (although he's not at his fighting weight last time I looked so might not make Saturday).
Our exclusive Everton pint glasses are a true collector’s item that pays homage to Goodison Park through iconic players who have graced the pitch over different generations.
