Sam fails.. we go down (perhaps) - he leaves - if that's what you want then I understand.
If Sam succeeds we might just be a bit better than the rank average, one nice game to watch in 5 or 6, and that's going to be an improvement.

We know what the problems are - so just get behind the team and the manager and stop looking at personal issues which have nothing to do with you or me. Trial by Media eh? Who needs the framework of a civil society when we can just be judge and jury and hang all the people we don't approve of..

Now how about today's game eh?

Going the match is about so much more than the actual ninety minutes.

There is a social aspect to it....the camaraderie is addictive and keeps one coming back no matter what the result or the style of play.

I always go alone, which is a good thing cos I am not a fun person to sit with at Everton matches. Though having said that, if I'm with Everton relatives we meet up in the Ship & Mitre beforehand, and Cambridge matches are fun cos it's a day out with my parents.

Spot on...there's been a few times in the last few years when we've been in the pub before the game and then its 2:45 and we've said "pity we have to go to the game now" lolbut of course we always do...can't give it up yet ...its in the blood

Actually Wolfy, I'd rather he sticks his season ticket games on Stubhub for a nominal sum ( say a quid ) and give someone who can't afford to go, a chance to get along.

Having said that, I’d still dearly love to be in a position to buy a season ticket next year and I envy those that do/can.

Unfortunately living in Suffolk and working hours means it’s not possible.

With a waiting list the size we've got now, you couldn't prize my ST out of my hand with a crowbar, because if you rejoined the back of the list now, it's reasonably unlikely you'd reach the front by the time we leave Goodison, and I'm not missing that final season for all the tea in china.

I have lost faith with our leadership and I dislike our new managerial team. I have always disliked FatSam going back to his Bolton days regardless of any subsequent improprieties.
But I will still be there next season with my ST, what else would I do? However I reserve the right to poke fun, criticise and generally disapprove of the current regime. Respect is earned before it can be given.
On the plus side I was going to buy my youngest her first ST but the uptake in STs made it impossible to get a seat near us. Next season should be easier, every cloud and all that.
