I always go alone, which is a good thing cos I am not a fun person to sit with at Everton matches. Though having said that, if I'm with Everton relatives we meet up in the Ship & Mitre beforehand, and Cambridge matches are fun cos it's a day out with my parents.Indeed.

There is a social aspect to it....the camaraderie is addictive and keeps one coming back no matter what the result or the style of play.
Spot on...there's been a few times in the last few years when we've been in the pub before the game and then its 2:45 and we've said "pity we have to go to the game now" lolbut of course we always do...can't give it up yet ...its in the bloodIndeed.
