Remy is awaiting trial on a drink driving charge.

Unless his not guilty plea is based on claims of medication/faulty test/police harrasment cannot see martinez willing to sign a player with this on his record given his well known views on alcohol
Wouldn't want him anyway. We have Kone who is approaching 31, and it would cost 10 million+ to get Remy who is 28 next January. Neither are longer term investments.

Batshuayi looks an interesting one. 20 years of age, and there was a well respected Belgian Journalist on talksport the other day, saying that this lad has a better all round game than both Lukaku and Benteke, and will go on to have a better career.

with a buyout clause rumoured from anywhere between 6-10 million, he could well be worth a shot.

Lukaku and Bony. It won't happen though.

I was right on Bony, always thought he was a good player before his move last summer.

I'd be extremely taken aback if lukaku actually signed for us, given that he openly wants to play CL and the fact we would need to smash our transfer record to get him. Deffo see a big European club come in. He's an ideal option to come off the bench in the CL and frighten defences.

Tbh haven't seen enough of most of the other strikers linked to comment, although I don't think welbeck is the answer!
