No it's not.

Mirrallas has potential but he's not in the same stratosphere as Kanchelskis, in terms of what he has delivered in his first season (albeit blighted by injury)

Which is why I put the little rider in brackets beside my choice.

Kanchelskis was fantastic at United but he was on the way down when he came here.

Mirallas, on the other hand, is a player on the way up.

Close call but based on what I have seen, I prefer Mirallas.

And you guys whom want to get worked up and chuck insults around over my choice being different from yours......well, sue me.

It's just a pleasant little thread comparing players from different eras.

Ask me the question again when Mirallas has had a full season and I'll take another look at it. One day Mirallas may in fact be better than 96 Kanchelskis. Doubt he will ever touch Kanny in his prime though
