Which ex-Everton player would you choose?

P Neville, this side needs an embarrassingly bad player, but who can "point" for England, as the opposition run passed him with ease, captain marvels the man ! :) god I cringe at the thought of that useless tw-t , being at our club ,football biggest fraud and wouldn't get in most pub teams !

For the present lot ?

Bally was my favourite ever Everton player but I got to see Peter Reid a lot more. If he was playing in the present team there would be no blowing away of 2 or 3 goals leads with him in the side. A born leader and the man we owe much of our 80s success to. So him by a street.

That is all true Joey, but Moggsy was the hardest man I ever saw in a blue jersey and Jack Charlton freely admitted that there were only two names in his 'book' Johnny Morrissey and Tommy Hutchinson of Chelsea.
Yes Moggsy was a hard man no doubts even Tommy smith stated that, reading books even his own players in a five a side hated playing against him!lol

Southall...We're crying out for a keeper who can actually make saves, catch crosses, and sort out John Stones's poor positioning play.

And Joe Parkinson was twice the player McCarthy is

Silliest thread ever really as there is only one valid answer - Southall was the best in the world in his position at a time of some truly great players, we wouldn't have been half the team in the 80's without him

Southall in this squad we'd be challenging for the title even with Martinez flaws
