I wouldn’t suggest we were unlucky on Sunday. We brought it on ourselves due to pickford’s howler which was our own making. There have been to many occasions though when the referee’s decision has influenced the derby in the RS’s favour (Carragher had the audacity to mention this in his commentary) and that is bad luck, Sunday wasn’t about luck just poor decision making from Pickford.

You could argue that as we lack the winning mentality that the top club s in the league have, we never make these things happen for us.

We have always been happy to sit back and lose rather than really fight for the win.

This has been an issue for us for years. Say what you will about the RS but they don't know when they're beat.
