'Bill Is A Great Chairman' – News Archive – News – evertonfc.com – The Official Website of Everton Football Club

Unnecessary, unwanted and mistimed. Is Kenwright that insecure he has his lackeys write [Poor language removed] like that after a couple of good reults in a disappointing season?

Unintentional comedy at its finest.

"Under the combined stewardship of Moyes and Kenwright, Everton have risen up the Premier League to become regulars in the upper echelons of the Premier League table."

Staggering.

They must be pissing themselves making this up and reading it back to each other.

Newcastle, Leeds, Portsmouth, West Ham, Liverpool, Manchester United.

Look at what happened there.

I'll stick with Kenwright.

The bile of hatred you have towards Kenwright is unhealthy, kidda.

I'm admittedly new to this site and this club, and I think he's done a reasonable job.

But...

How do you put an article like this on the site? I feel bad for the lowly intern who had to write it.

There it is.

So, just so we are straight. It is ok for you to be opportunistic, but it isn't ok for the club (specifically, BK) to be.

I mean they are taking advantage of a feel good situation (results), plus the fact all the money troubles surfacing across the Premier League, to promote themselves a bit.

Like when you take advantage of a bad situation to fuel your point of view on various points.

Not to promote themselves and not to promote a bit. It's a eulogy to the Chairman that is so pathetic the author actually puts words into the manager's mouth by stating upfront that Moyes thinks the chairman is 'great'. He doesn't state that. It's a woeful bit of shoring up of a man with nothing to offer.

Like when you take advantage of a bad situation to fuel your point of view on various points.

That's a matter of opinion and a matter of how you define opportunism. It's the Everton forum. It's a story just released by the club. I used the opportunity to bring the story to the attention of others.
