Id like to think we will be competitive for the CL mate - i think its a realistc possibility - I think Norway may struggle more next year with European commitments, yet so may we. We really need to target Norways CL place and Arsenals for my money as both are prob the most vulnerable of the current top 4. My own thoughts are from 6th to 4th, depending how we recruit, what other teams do in the market and how teams react to the CL - injuries are vital as well Norway and Arsenal are vulnerable on this score over the season as are we given quality squad depth.

My thoughts are we should be competitive for the CL as we were this season and reality we just missed out. On other teams:

Arsenal - had a mare last season with injuries, Walcott will be back - big +, if they add to the squad could be beyond us. Yet i always feel they are one bad injury away from being poor.

Spurs - i expect to be more resilient next season, Poch is a good manager who will have them tight and well drilled in a system - a direct rival for us who could be a lot better or rather more consistent overall.

Chelsea - Will benifit from the season gone, a year of transisition, i thought they were pound for pound the best team in the league from Jan onwards in terms of balance - if they get a striker and sort out their consistency i think they will win the title.

City - I think they may struggle next year, after the last title win i think they found it hard to go again, with their squad they should be in a CL place, if they have a mare of a season and we have our best we could sneak in there - i think in some ways they were lucky to win the league this year.

Norway - I think they are vulnerable enough, with their CL commitements, Suarez will play in the WC - but dont think thats such a good idea - i think hes injured and he may struggle next year because of that for fitness. I can see them being vulnerable.

Utd - i think will have a good season, no Europe to worry about a couple of big money signings, a happy RVP, new manager effect, i think they will be back next season and up there.

So for my money we need to target Norway, Arsenal and possibly City. to get in there.

Id settle for winning the Europa.

The fear i hold though is that we will miss Gerry, Lukaku and Barry if he doesnt come back hugely. Thats a hell of a lot of talent to loose in a team that might be challenging to replace.

6th - 4th for my money.
