Of course there is option D . Villa match gets postponed???would that happen?

I would think so.

That has always been the way.....a league match postponed to allow a cup replay to take place.

This problem is bound to arise that week somewhere as their is a full EPL programme.

For instance, if City draw aw Chelsea, they have a trip to The Pit scheduled on any possibke replay date.

Replay would be played when the CL fixtures are on, as neither side is in Europe.

If not, blame Osman
Not sure that matters. Certainly it's the case that no PL game is allowed to be played in a CL week. All to do with UEFA demanding the CL gets the full focus of attention in every European country. How the EPL and others ever agreed to this is puzzling to say the least. It causes fixture pile up. Christ knows how the PL would ever get finished should there be a few weeks of freezing cold weather with numerous postponements..

FA Cup replays can be played mate, they definitely were last season.

Actually there weren't any replays last year.

If anyone remembers the Quarters though, Liverpool drew with Blackburn at home on the 8th March, and then played the replay on 8th April, because of UEFA Ruling, so I think he'd be right. So should we draw, we'll be pencilled in for 22-23rd March. So i'd expect we'd play the replay on FA Quarters day, then play the following week.

What a farce UEFA is.
