Sky Sports understands several Football League clubs are tracking Tamworth and England C international Ben Richards-Everton.
The 22-year-old has been a shining light at the heart of the Tamworth defence all season and his progress has not gone unnoticed among clubs higher up the football pyramid.
Richards-Everton's aerial dominance and technical ability with the ball at his feet has alerted a host of clubs to his talent, and his performances saw him rewarded with his first England C call-up in November.
The dominant defender played a major role in Tamworth's FA Cup exploits this season, including a fine display in the club's first-round victory over League Two side Cheltenham Town and also caught the eye in the 2-1 defeat to Bristol City last weekend.
With Richards-Everton's current deal due to expire at the end of the season it is believed the Conference Premier side would prefer to sell the ball-playing centre-half in January rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.
