When the dust settles

At least we never signed Joe Ledley.

(shakes head) Your NFL guys (there area few of us I guess) just did a double take ' "Isn't he the kicker for the 49ers?" Too close - the kicker is named Joe Nedney, and I just watched him kick off to the Cowboys.

BTW - Yes, you can love both types of football. It's like Bob's Country Bunker at my place - "We have both kinds of music - Country and Western!!" I get kind of a kick watching the guys who don't understand the beautiful game going into football withdrawal in February, just when it starts getting good in the EPL. :D

When the dust settles, we've signed Jo on loan, Billy, Distin, & Heitinga.

I'd say one of Moyes' better transfer windows.

Sounds like Dini prefers right midfield. Hopefully him and Johnny H can strike up a Baines-Pienaar type understanding down the right and we shall be in business. Plenty of cover suddenly in midfield with Nev and Jack to fix the 'water carrier' role. And Arteta only weeks away from training again and Yak already on the fitness trail. Jags back to slot in in time for Yobo to go walkabout at the ANC. Seems the squad has filled out a little and there are options.

It does look a lot more positive than a few weeks ago. More squad depth and a good range of options from what will be a really strong bench when/if we see a fully fit squad.

Can't wait to see them in action.
