It's been revealed how Everton chairman Bill Kenwright dismissed one shareholder's quite legitimate question at the recent AGM over his failure to find foreign investment.
The Guardian says one small shareholder remarked: "Peter Trembling, [Everton's] former commercial director, recently left the club.
"Within three or four months of leaving he found investors – Middle East-based – to buy Notts County. If Everton are for sale, how much are you asking for the club?"
But Kenwright would not engage.
"Here we go; oh please," he said. "Come on."
The shareholder persisted: "You're not answering the question."
To which Kenwright responded: "I'm not answering your question. I'm bored with your question. You're not getting an answer to the question."
